They were going 100 MPH plus. Probably on the way to pick up a couple of buddies on the Mexican border and they were running late.
You missed the sarcasm, but that maybe my fault for not including a map. I know it was the Canadian border, hence the 2500 plus mile cannonball run to Mexico at over 100 MPH.
