why they have him labeled as one. He is clearly a spread QB. In fact, those formations looked similar to ours at times.

that this guy is a backup plan that could be a possibility if Newton goes elsewhere. What I don't understand is why we would go after a drop back passer (based on his video) instead of making a push on Brunetti. I say we sign a juco QB in Newton only and if that doesn't work out, you go hard after Brunetti. It's also unreal that people on Gene's page are saying to pull Newton's offer and go after Favre. IF Favre was to ever play at MSU, it probably wouldn't be until his senior year or so and by then, Mullen would have probably signed another QB better than him. Some of our fans have zero perception on what it means to be successful and obviously have zero sense about athletics or competition. I don't see how someone can be a sports fan and follow a paid recruiting board when they never even played t-ball.

This is a bad sign if you ever thought Mullen had Newton in the bag. If there's a backup we know that's not the case anymore.

Brunetti is going to West Virginia. He is not going to change his mind. Book it and forget about him.

Just curious on how the visit came to be? I didn't realize Mississippi State was talking to you. How long have you been in contact with MSU? Thanks for the opportunity to ask you questions.

A St. Stanislaus assistant coach told me that Dylan Favre is the son of Brett Favre's brother. Sounds like Favre blood to me. I'm not saying that translates into D-1 talent. But he has the bloodlines.

Supposedly Brett's brother married a girl with a son. That's the story. I have no idea if it's true or not and could care less.

are that his family wants him closer to home. I don't know if that means we have a legit shot, but there's still alot of time between now and signing day. I wouldn't be shocked in the least if he doesn't end up at WVU.

so much about his height. That 4.81 40 speed is more interesting.

Lee's problem wasn't necessarily his height but he was slow. Short and slow is deadly.

If Lee has run a 4.5 forty his height would not have dominated the message boards.
