This stuff is pointless to worry about. The schools that were already way ahead, will remain that way. We likely fall back some, being in MS. Nothing we can do about it without the state changing laws and getting millions of people to move here.
I agree with this, no sense in worrying at all. It's not like I'm going to be paying players, it's all on the boosters/companies/etc. And the players who are on the take now were on the take before, dating all the way back to the late 70s. At least now we get a little tax revenue from it.
Boosters likely just won't be making huge contributions to facilities anymore, now that will go to players. Well, that's no big deal, because TV can handle most of that. Plus, the age of facilities is coming to an end, we did all of that over the past 20 years. Now we're headed into a generally 'maintenance' sort of phase, give or take a few things here or there like the Hump or Neyland Stadium.
