Better than I thought when I looked at it the first time. I thought the stripes were glossy but it's just the lighting.

They put out some shoes like this every year or every other year because I have some state ultra boost shoes from like two or three years ago
I don’t remember anything MSU specific on them before. Maybe there has been but I missed it. I think athletic department people had them with something MSU related on them but not for sale to the general public. Could be wrong though

Those don't look bad, but what's the comfort level of a shoe with out a true tongue and a tailgate chair bag drawstring for laces? Clearly I'm not a sneaker head, so I'm honestly curious how shoes like this feel.
You can drop $200 on those but if I want " Ultraboost Technology" I'd rather rock these Skechers for $49.99**, they'll add at least 2" to your height and virtually make your little mans disease disappear.
My disdain for all things Adidas should be well known by now, I own exactly 0 items that they make and those shoes will be no exception. Every time I look at anything they make I think "Euro Crap" . Just bought a pair of Adidas that structurally looks similar to the MSU ones, but I only spent $80 on them. A little more colorful, but they feel really good on my feet. Here's the ones I bought. I'm good with Adidas now and going forward.

Those would look sharp with a tucked in PFG, too-long khaki shorts (w/ mustard stain), metal studded state belt, checkbook wallet, and oversized otter box belt clip.
I have not heard of that commercial, but yeah, that does it for me too. I had pretty much quit buying them anyway once I realized BCG was just about as good as the big name brands at about half the cost.
