Greetings Gamecock Nation! Hoping y’alls southern hospitality can help this Raleigh, NC girl out as she makes her way to Columbia for the first time to watch the Gamecocks take down Vandy!

I’m making the trip from Raleigh to watch a kid I use to babysit for and haven’t seen in years play (hopefully) this weekend. Really excited, either way, just to see him dressed out and living his dream of playing college football! I’ve secured my tickets for the game, but would welcome any advice you may have when it comes to parking. Is buying a pass on the secondary market the best route to go or are there other pay lots near the stadium on game day that are open? Trying to avoid having to drop another $100 on a parking pass if I can help it (the tickets, hotel, and gas for the trip down and back already have my budget rather tight as it is), but want to make sure I’m there for the players walk and get the full Gamecock Game Day experience as I don’t know when or if I’ll get another chance to see this young man, who is so near and dear to my heart, play again.

I appreciate any advice you can offer, or hell, if you or someone you know can’t make it to the game and would be willing to sell their PP at a reasonable price, please let me know! Looking forward to trading in my N.C. State red and white for Gamecock garnet and black as I cheer you guys on in Williams-Bryce Stadium on Saturday!

Thanks and GO GAMECOCKS!!!

It's been a while since I've been to a game, but there used to plenty of lots around the stadium with parking for far less than $100. Always just showed up day of the game and paid in person at one of the many lots on Bluff Rd. Maybe all that's changed though.

There is a resturant across from the state fair (across from the rocket called Seawells). Sometimes people for whatever reason cannot make the game. You can call them and ask them if they have any spaces available for the game Saturday. Their phone number is 803-771-7385. I would suggest calling them today (Monday) as they may can help you. Do not wait until midweek or later on in the week.

Come in Bluff Road off of I-77, there’s plenty of parking at businesses within view and walking distance of WB.

I suggest calling Mavis Tires, on Bluff Road, a four block walk to the stadium to inquire about buying a reserved spot. I don’t know if they pre-sell or not, but worth a try imo!
