I'm a late adopter of fads, trends, mRNA vaccines and other emerging technologies. That said, what has been your experience with countertop Air Fryers?
A useful appliance or another countertop obstruction you wish you hadn't purchased.
I like ours. You can bang out a whole chicken in around an hour. We used to do that all the time on a Sunday as you can have a bunch of meals for the week - salads, tacos, soup...... It is especially good when you inject it. Skin gets done perfectly.
Make French Fries all the time. Good lower fat fries, and who doesn't love fries? Cut them up on the mandolin, wash them up good and dry. Toss with avocado oil and do the double dip for extra crispiness.
Haven't really ventured out of those two applications. Most I read says you can do a hell of a lot more, we just haven't done it. Definitely buy some parchment paper for the bottom of the tray. Makes clean up a whole lot easier.
Don't have to buy an expensive one.
