Gamecock legend deserves more praise from fans! Recorded the most points in a WNBA season today!
??? Shoots it from outside of 15 way better than Walton ever did. Maybe the other parts of the game, I guess so.As a player, she reminds me of Bill Walton on the men's side.
Boston is still a good player, but I am not sure she has the disposition to be what Aja has become. Aja has a mean streak and plays with a physicality that Aliyah does not display. She can get there, but she has to show some fight back when opponents get physical with her. I say the same thing with Cardoso too.Thrilled for and about A'ja. I hope she enjoys many more years of premier status.
It strikes me that Boston could have one day attained similar status had she not found herself on a team where she can never have more than a supporting role. A transfer of her services elsewhere would benefit her career.
Congratulations, A'ja!
If Cardoso isn't mashing people like bugs, that's inexcusable. I still think that, in Boston's case, the sun needs to come out from behind the moon - figuratively. It won't happen where she is.Boston is still a good player, but I am not sure she has the disposition to be what Aja has become. Of course, Caitlin will get all the credit, but the people that know basketball recognize they will win if Boston plays more to the level of Aja. At least to this point, guards don't really win you championships in Women's Basketball. Boston gets her fair share of opportunities, but she tends the let the bigger, more physical centers (Jonquel Jones, Greiner, Brionna Jones from Connecticut) bully her. I like how nice of a person Aliyah is, but sometimes I would like her to not be so nice on the court. If Cardoso isn't mashing people like bugs, that's inexcusable.
