If you decide Atlantis stay at the Cove otherwise kids will be romping all over . Baha Mar is also a pretty good property and the course there is fine .

If you have flexibility for islands look at Sandals Emerald Bay on Great Exuma. (I should mention this is also a Bahama island which is a short plane hop from Nassau) Has a wonderful Greg Norman course on property which is never busy. When we are not playing we walk it each day because of the ocean views.

There is a golf course on paradise island right next to our condos, paradise island beach club which is right next to ocean club. Think it is called ocean club golf course. You can rent from owners.

Looks like golf Digest recommends the Ocean Course. It got pretty high grades from the locals. I had lunch there and I saw the course. But was with the family, and they don't golf. The 3 on the south shore of the DR in the link are really sweet, and I have played those multiple times. They list OC in the top 5.

We stayed at the Reef at Atlantis in Feb and I don’t think I would ever do it again. First, they charge crazy prices for everything. We live in NJ and lived in brooklyn for quite a long time, but even for us, the prices were nuts. The buffet was only open two days of the week we were there and it was $200 for two adults and one 3 year old. And I had two beers and she had one cocktail. And that was our CHEAPEST dinner! 350 at carmines, 350 at the Japanese place. Just silly. Our week of charges came out to about $5,000. On top of 4K for the room and flights. And that was cheap from what I heard. Some lady said they did the swimming pig expedition for a family of 5 and it came out to like 3k!!!!

on top of that the place is HUGE. Again, we lived in brooklyn and are used to walking. One day I clocked 10 miles of walking. And it’s so big that you don’t even know when things are happening. There were times when we would get to an event by accident we didn’t know about and it would just be ending. We never heard about it and not sure how we would have.

Our room was great and everything with it was perfect but I did hear people complaining that they didn’t have hot water the entire week or low pressure, this is for a 600 a night room!

The Cove was beautiful though!

if I was going to go again, I would try BahaMar. We heard good things about it there.
