Am I just missing this somewhere within this site, or has it not been mention; UT outfielder and Pitching Coach suspended from next game...

Drew was tossed by home plate ump because he turned on the ump and said, “FU, that’s a f…ing BS call. Ump tossed him right away. As he should, you can usually get away with arguing a call but you don’t turn on an ump and curse him to his face on a call. The coach, Anderson, charged out the dugout yelling at the HP ump for tossing the player and was tossed by another member of the crew. Since he’d been tossed earlier in the year, by NCAA rules, he received a three game suspension.

I was happy that the Vols were having such a fantastic year, it was great seeing the fan support, and I was pulling for them to go all the way. Not any more.

What sent me over the edge was their playing "Rocky Top" after each scored Vol run in the Regionals. It's certainly obnoxious, but for regular season games, their stadium, their call.

Since (post conference tournament) post season is under the auspicies of the NCAA, my understanding that when it comes to the stadium environment, it should be as neutral as possible. This certainly violates the spirit of the regulation if not the letter of it (unless, of course, they played "Ramblin' Wreck" after every Jacket run scored) as well.

I believe the NCAA usually has the fight song of either team played after a run scores.

Yes, I paid attention and noted that during game 3 of the Irish-Vols series. And thus I stand corrected.

For the NCAA playoffs, if If you play it for one team, you play it for the other. Play it for all teams, or play it for none.
