He really had a great game. If you consider the circumstances, it was a phenomenal game. It's really shocking that he completed 77% of his passes under these conditions.

"In Rattler’s defense, when you watch the tape, he was sacked eight times — he could have been sacked 20 times. He’s got nice feel in the pocket, he got out of there a bunch, Not only did he escape with feel and quickness, he ripped away from some sacks from big guys, so he showed some strength in the pocket. He delivered some strikes under duress. Spencer Rattler put a ton of NFL throws on tape in that game that scouts are going to love. It’s the compromised pocket into tight windows. He was going all that stuff and he lost arguably his best receiver in Juice Wells in the first half. He kind of turned Xavier Legette into an overnight star, he played his butt off the other night."

Spencer Rattler is a tough hombre.

For those that have never taken a snap and the first thing in your vision on the reg is a clear view of an opponent, characterizing Rattler as 'poor decisions, bad throws, slow, etc etc'...nothin but love for ya, but you don't know what you're talking about.

100%. To me, his response to the pressure is really encouraging. If they find the magic potion for the OL and Juice gets 100%, it's going to be a fun offense to watch.

Give him any blocking at all and he'll have a monster year - add any run game at all and we win a few more games.

He was heroic. He did all a man could do. Beamer is doubling down on offensive line improvement. It needs to happen, but I'm not sure our tackles have the feet to make it happen. They (and are they really SEC tackles?) are extremely slow to react on the edges.

30 of 39 and only 14 points. That fact sort of proves that if you can't run the ball it is hard to win a football game. When the field gets compressed in the red zone passing gets to be much more difficult if you can't make the defense respect the play fake.
