Just wondering what you misfits and miscreants are gonna be doing more and better in the coming seasons. Hoping to steal the best ideas for my own.

Happy New Year’s boys. I appreciate the Pack.

Same as every year…I’m going to try to not burn the roof of my mouth with hot food as much.

It's a worthy goal. Two pieces of advice my late uncle gave me about 40 years ago. 1. Don't spend over $1000 without sleeping on it at least one night. Don't spend over $10,000 without sleeping on it at least a week. 2. Spend the next year spending only cash where it's possible. Handing over those green backs is real, swiping a card is too unemotional. It doesn't make you think about it.

I like the cash idea, but I use cash back points to fund vacations every summer, so I use cash as little as possible

My resolution is to have sex as often as the wife wants to, so 3-4 times in 2022 sounds about right.

Not really a resolution, but decided to try out crypto for a year. Bought some BTC, ETH, and doge for the meme.

Gonna see what it does in 2022

A lot of hope and wishful thinking in that 1st post. My estimate may be 2-3 high.

Leaving 1 in there because I'm pretty sure there will be at least 1 expensive surprise in the year.

Same here. I have 2 cards I put everything I can on i.e. groceries, gas, utilities, restaurants, cell phones etc. (except mortgage because they won't accept it ) and I haven't paid a penny in finance charges in the 5 years I've been doing it. It's great if you have discipline and don't just buy things because you can put them on credit. In my earlier years I was the guy that overspent and paid ****** finance charges every month but that ship sailed years ago

My life improves when I make New Years resolutions even when I don’t fully complete them.

That’s what I do. At the end of every week I pay the card off. Usually get between 2-3k a year in rewards. It’s definitely worth it if you are disciplined and don’t ever pay interest. Free money.
