Anybody watch SEC in 60 on the SEC Network?

They show highlights of all SEC teams games in a one hour show. USC vs ODU was near the end. Maybe it's just me, but I swear ours looked like a couple of high school teams playing. Most other SEC teams blew the doors off their patsy opening day opponent. When the games were shown all consecutively, the difference was glaring. Heck, the three that lost were playing ranked FBS teams and still looked better offensively than we did. Something's gotta change and fast.

When you watch us play, and then watch teams like Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Texas, Ohio State… It doesn’t even seem like the same sport. Those other teams are vastly, more athletic, stronger, faster, better coached, more instinctual.

For that matter, if you watch one of our current games, and then go back and watch highlights from one of our teams from 11, 12 or 13, it’s the same thing.

We just don’t look like a serious team.

I wonder if that will even seem like a good idea after Saturday..... Not that I'm pessimistic or anything.

I suggested we try to hire Lane Kiffin when we hired Beamer. Of course most know thus board were adamant in their opposition. Kiffin has settled down and has done wonders at Ole Miss. Lane plays to win, particularly early on when he started as his team was not as talented as he needed. He found ways to win and continues to win now with a lot more talent. We need to play every player that could possibly contribute. Beamer has nothing to lose as this season every Carolina fan wants and needs to see progress. To me, I do not want to wait to next year, this is next year. If we lose and we throw the kitchen sink at our opponents, then we have done all we can do. If we lose let's try to go out in a blaze of glory but we may find the gold at the end of the rainbow.
