Woke up this morning and the room felt like it was spinning(I don't do drugs or drink) at the emergency room now, I don't know what this is, it is freaking me out!

I'm no Dr, but I know ear/nose/throat stuff can be related to your inner ear which of course relates to balance, vertigo and the like. Good luck and I hope they can quickly get you an easily treatable diagnosis.

Sounds like the inner ear problem I had (and have never forgotten) nearly 60 years ago. I threw up and bumped up against walls. Even lying down, I could not move my head without getting dizzy. I think the problem lasted about 3 days. I don't remember how it was treated.

Good Luck

My wife had problems. Doctor gave exercises to realign crystals in the inner ear (weird, huh?).

I’ve experienced this on several occasions. It’s nothing to worry about unless it becomes chronic. One time it happened after I was getting over the flu, and another time during allergy season. I literally had to prop myself up against a wall to walk I was so dizzy. I was told it was likely fluid around the inner ear. Allergy medications can help reduce the fluid build up, even if you don’t have allergies. I took Zyrtec.

I’ve had it about 3 or 4 times. Miserable, it’s like being on the worst drunk of your life. Sweating, puking, can’t walk, bed spinning, etc. Mine usually lasts about 8 hours.

Man, I consider myself lucky to have experienced it only once. Some of you have had it more than once. I was in the 9th grade when I had it. I remember throwing up in the stairwell of school. I was as sick as a dog. I don't want to go through that again.

One time is plenty. My ears produce a lot of ear wax. I have to go to an ENT every 3 months to address that. I doubt there's any connection. But, I'm no MD. So, who really knows?

Friend had vertigo. He was told it was an inner ear issue. He was very overweight.

The doctor told him to cut down on his salt intake. Over time, it worked.

Might be a symptom of rabbititis?

But seriously, did you also have difficulty hearing? Nasal congestion can also block the eustacian tubes, creating pressure in the ear(s) which can cause some dizziness.

Ended up being prescribed Claritin, prescription nasal spray, and a medicine for the vertigo(can't remember the name of that medicine), still feel dizzy in spurts here and there but feeling better. Hopefully this will be gone in a few days.
This is something you will NEVER forget. I know I will never forget when I had it. And I never forget when I had my left knee busted as a running back. One was a awful sickness I had never experienced such before or since. The other was an excruciating pain never experienced before or since (even the sciatica pain I experienced last summer can't compete with the pain of getting your knee busted).

Vertigo & inner ear issues are akin to living in the twilight zone.
Last time it hit me, brutal isn't descriptive enuff.
Know exactly how you're feeling. Ain't fun & hope you'll be feeling better soon!
