Apparently Albert Pujols drank from the fountain of youth.

Unlikely he keeps the recent tear going, but if he does, he’s gonna get real close to 700 home runs

If they face enough left handed pitching he’s going to get there. He is murdering lefties.

This made me look at the career hr list. My mind blew when I saw Jim Thome as 8. 17ing 8. I haven’t watched or kept up with bball in over a decade but I wouldn’t have ever thought he would have been that elite in the HR category. He must have played into his 40s

Thome was one of the very best in baseball for a few years. That 4 year stretch in his early early 30's when he hit 190 HRs was scary good.

He just was never a star on a major market team for any stretch.

He is already real close to 700 HRs.

He’s going to get much closer than anyone thought he would at the start of the season. He opened the season needing 21 to get to 700. He started last week needing 12. He only needs 8 now. I didn’t expect him to get over 690.

I hope he hits the remaining 8 during the upcoming Braves series.
