Too vague. And the Alabama athletics department was pretty gracious to us (no Rammer Jammer Yellowhammer done at the MSU-Alabama football game) so they're okay in my book.

I do like the Finebaum nomination and I'll add Lars Anderson (or can we just say Auburn Apologist Media as a catchall for everything?)

Scarbinsky, Cecil, Trooper, etc. but lazily decided to lump everybody together. Looking back the deck is stacked WAY in Auburn's favor here, since while Updyke is a total nutjob and enormous douchebag, his actions didn't actually affect State. <div>

Sure, it's an invaluable resource for breaking news, keeping up with friends and finding out what they had for lunch. But for whatever reason our athletes can't stop making asses of themselves on Facebook/Twitter (but strangely nobody seems to be on LinkedIn). So the question is, can Twitter be considered a douchebag?</div>

2. Participates in a WWF-like coming out party with Wade and Bosch
3. Anything other than a championship is a failure
4. Get to the finals, and play hot potato with the ball, making Chalmers and Haslem shoot all of the money time shots

I like watching the guy play, and wasn't really a hater, but that finals performance, and obvious "I'm afraid to be the man" thing he did in the last 4 games,AFTER he did 1, 2, and 3 aboveputs him at the very top of this list.

There are many worth nominees. Cecil and/or Cam Newton could be the most obvious. But let's face it - they only did what countless other athletes/families are doing.

The biggest DDDY in that whole saga has to be Mike Slive. It is his job to police that stuff. And in the face of damning, even if circumstantial, evidence against Auburn - the focus of his first public comments on Newtongate was of his strong disappointment in Mississippi State. To date, he has said more about Mississippi State than he has about Auburn with regard to Camgate. Yes the highest profile, most expensive pay-for-play scheme in the history of the SEC rears its ugly head and all Slive can do is be disappointed in Mississippi State. Auburn corruption goes to the highest levels, but Mike Slive is supremely disappointed in the school which proved beyond a doubt that it is incapable of playing this shady game. What. The. Fuuck.

There can be only one 2011 DDDY, and it has to be Mike Slive. And the fact that he's a repeat performer in the DDDY sweepstakes says he is no fluke. His doucheness is for real and must be recognized.

Never thought I'd see myself defending Collins after such a mediocre season from a power position, but he's one of the only Polk guys to not only survive Cohen, but apparently to work his *** off and earn Cohen's respect as a starter. He may suck, but he sucks in a "Tyson Lee we're givin' her all she's got, cap'n" sort of way, and not in a douchebag sort of way.

Not to pile on, but I agree - I think it may be time to let that one go.

I never understand how players draw so much genuine hate from the fans. How can you hate a guy that is representing your school? I mean, talk **** about him sucking all you want, that's fine - that's what fans do. But to hate the guy because he isn't the most athletically gifted baseball player ever is absurd.

understand why you want to nominate him. .192 is certainly not something I would be proud of, but I'd be willing to bet that isn't the lowest RISP in the conference. Dude played his *** off and committed only 5 errors at 1B this year. He had 4 errors last year and 6 the year before that. I'm not a baseball expert, but those aren't terrible stats for a 1B considering the number of opportunities he gets to make a mistake.

you know he had to be doing that on purpose. all those hours of practicing to pop it up or hit it right at someone or strike out without anyone knowing he was being purposeful makes him a monster douche. why didn't he just practice to get on base instead? must be a 17ing closet rebel. i bet he has rebels lining his pockets and giving him free cars, food, bling, etc. what a jackass.

/you see how dumb that looks? it's the only conclusion i can come tothough since you are calling a guy a douche for just not being ableto perform highly. i could maybe understand if he was in the press saying he didn't care what anyone thought and knew that people hating on him would still have their problems tomorrow, ala lebron. but that's not the case.</p>

of why it was our responsibility to do any "due diligence" on another school's player? By the time the SEC was asking for a response, wasn't Cam committed to Auburn, if not attending already? Wouldn't the more douche thing to do have been to go after an Auburn player?<div>
