I can’t recall when I have ever seen a team burn two timeouts when they are kneeling down to run up the clock clock at the end of the game

Total amateur hour, but a humorously fitting ending to the game.

I had already changed games and missed our "victory" formation fiasco.

This is the only thing I give Beamer credit for. He noticed we were lined up to run a play (like Miami did last year) instead of kneeling. He called time out and blew up on the sideline. He was pissed.

While I say I give him credit…it’s only a little tiny…the tiniest bit of credit because the problem is he hired the idiot that was about to run the ball instead of kneel.

The 2nd time out was dumb. Should’ve let every single second run off and took the delay of game. I’m thinking he called the time out to make sure Sellers didn’t go on a knees before the 40 came up on the clock.

But to your point, it showed our incompetence to just bleed out the clock. He’s the guy in charge so it certainly falls on him.

Total amateur hour. Running out the clock should be something a competent coach and team can do without any thought at all. I have to wonder if Sellers is a little dumb. He should have been able to figure out how much time was left and how to make sure the ball was snapped at the right time. This wasn't some sort of complicated situation.

I thought the same thing at the time - he didn't fully trust Sellers in even that situation. (not that he would be wrong to not fully trust Selllers in that situation, lol)

That’s not on sellers. Mostly our stupid coaches

I remember when we could beat UK, UT, UF, and UGA in the same year. SOS

Hopefully Elliot will be that person now that Lembo isn’t here!

I thought Mike Shula was assisting the offense. Not sure he has an on the field role but he is the Senior Offensive Assistant Coach. Just seems like a great resource.

Not when you look at his coaching record. But it's on par with the type of people that we hire.
Two guys who spent a significant time in the NFL can't find a way to stress a defense they had all summer to get ready for is wild 😂. But I see your point when you put it like that.
