all signs point to Cam to AU:
-the AU recruiting guy breaks the announcement, whereas none of the three State sites have made mention
-dad told BDJ they wanted to announce on campus after Christmas, but now the date is moved up before AU hits the road

And, yes, count me as pissed. Mullen spends a year on this guy, has a great relationship with him and the family, has a great track record as QB coach/developer, has a system made for him, and then a week before signing date Auburn offers and he's gone. Complete 17ing ********. Just 17.

Are we really going to strike out with QBs this year?

I think we can get to a bowl without him, but he would obviously make us much better if he were here. If Mullen can get Relf to be a little more accurate, we go to a bowl game next year. Relf will do ok, or Stegall, or Russell, or whoever we put back there. I think either of those 3 will be better than Tyson Lee, and with an easier non conference schedule next year, I think we can get 6 wins out of next year with Relf at QB.

Chizk said that they were meeting in Tampa on the 26th. So unless he does it before then I don't see how he could announce next week on campus unless its with us!

what's not to be ticked off about. Mullen's working his *** off to get this thing going as quick as he can and then this dumb **** happens.

And im glad to be done with him. He might be all world, but he seems like a "everything about me" guy that kills your team chemistry and I dont think he is going to be as good as advertised. We have TR, and he will be a great QB. <17> cam newton, lets stop talking about him. And what JUCO has a press conference to announce anyway?

Jesus jumping Christ, you drama queens are unbelievable. Because he hasn't committed yet he's a team chemistry killer and not that good anyway? If he committed/signed with MSU weeks ago you'd be polishing his pecker but because he hasn't he's bad news. Unreal.

I have noticed is that a lot Auburn sites never say that they have in fact talked to Newton or his dad like some of our writers do. I just don't believe it. First it was they were told to keep the decision that Newton was going to visit hush hush. Then it was that he committed to them during his visit. I just think this is the lastest round of B.S. that they are feeding them. I really hope he signs with us to prove these guys were full of it.
