Nah. She did the right thing. Go to the presser, say what just happened, handle it as classy as possible. She's looking for a job, now. Interviewing started immediately.
That is awesome! I bet the guy who asked the question felt like an idiot. She was so matter of fact. Never heard of her, but wish her well.
Could be wrong but last season when South Carolina played Eastern Michigan there was only one media person at the post game conference That is awkward.
I'm not sure what kind of dollar figures we're talking about and what the buyout of a UT State women's basketball coach would look like, but not showing up for the press conference might constitute a breach of her contract. Until she's officially let go, she'd want to continue fulfilling her duties, however difficult that might be.
