Maybe this works out better, but this reminds me of when Ole Miss caught Alabama trying to figure out the QB position in 2015: Cooper Bateman made his only start against Ole Miss, Bama fell behind big, they finally put Jake Coker in, who turned a blowout into a close loss, and then Coker led them to a national title.
