Yes, but we would make them look like a playoff team.It so Mississippi State for them to fall off our schedule right about now, having played them every single year since the Truman administration.
You had to know this would happen. It so Mississippi State for them to fall off our schedule right about now, having played them every single year since the Truman administration.
This is exactly what I was coming in to say. Alabama's defense is not usual. Not only are they trailing SC, but they gave up 40 points to Vandy!Certainly not the defense we are used to seeing.
If he loses he is already on the hot seat and assistants will be replaced at years end if not himCrazy to say (or maybe not), but this next half is a big one for Deboer's tenure at Alabama. In other words, is he their Joe Moorhead?
Thanks for the recap. When it got to 14 - 0 I changed the channel. Go Cockadoodles! It was really odd. Well inside the 2 minute warning, they break away and Booger says SC can't throw the fall downfield, and it looked like Alabama was going to halftime with a 14-0 lead.
They go back to the game and SC immediately throws a 60 yard pass, downfield, making it 14-7.
Kick off to Alabama. They run a play or two, then catch Miltoe in the end zone with a safety. 14-9
Then, Ala has to punt after the safety, and the SC quarterback fumbles. Ala has 40 or so seconds to score. But then Milroe throws an interception, the receiver steps out on the 19, and SC hits a field goal.
14-12 at halftime. SC has the momentum - don't know who gets the ball to start the 3rd.
That whole thing sounds like what Alabama always does to us.
Maybe he should’ve brought Will Rogers with him from Washington after all…I don't understand why Alabama is trying to make its quarterback a pocket passer. You could tell he was uncomfortable in the pocket and would be more comfortable when he was rolling out.
I was hoping the Bama defender would down the ball in the end zone, but one of the other players was smart enough to tell him to run it out.Well, USC fell apart there.
