Crazy to say (or maybe not), but this next half is a big one for Deboer's tenure at Alabama. In other words, is he their Joe Moorhead?

It was really odd. Well inside the 2 minute warning, they break away and Booger says SC can't throw the fall downfield, and it looked like Alabama was going to halftime with a 14-0 lead.

They go back to the game and SC immediately throws a 60 yard pass, downfield, making it 14-7.

Kick off to Alabama. They run a play or two, then catch Miltoe in the end zone with a safety. 14-9

Then, Ala has to punt after the safety, and the SC quarterback fumbles. Ala has 40 or so seconds to score. But then Milroe throws an interception, the receiver steps out on the 19, and SC hits a field goal.

14-12 at halftime. SC has the momentum - don't know who gets the ball to start the 3rd.

That whole thing sounds like what Alabama always does to us.

Never underestimate Bama's ability to 17 up a coaching search! This rule is so true that it even applies to Greg Byrne.
The Saban hire is way the exception instead of the rule. Remember that they had hired Rich Rod before he changed his mind that time & they locked in on Saban. SEC & even NCAA football history looks totally difference if Rich Rod is the hire.

How far away is the Warrior River for SC fans to dump the goalposts in?

I don't understand why Alabama is trying to make its quarterback a pocket passer. You could tell he was uncomfortable in the pocket and would be more comfortable when he was rolling out.

Well I am about to screw South Carolina. I just turned on the game and will root for them. So it will be downhill from here.

If he loses he is already on the hot seat and assistants will be replaced at years end if not him

Thanks for the recap. When it got to 14 - 0 I changed the channel. Go Cockadoodles!

Thought the Bama receiver had caught it for a TD, but SC intercepted.

BTW - my phone's not been dinging with texts from my Bama buddies.

Told you.

I thought it might not happen after the Bama INT, BUT then the SC QB just drops the ball.

Maybe he should’ve brought Will Rogers with him from Washington after all…

Why take the TO there? You only saved 15 seconds. If you use it after the 2 minutes TO you save 40 seconds

Well, USC fell apart there.

I hate we are as poor as we are. I really wish we were our normal selves and could get a crack at them. I don't think DeBoer is a bad coach at all or even a bad pick per se for them, but NIL has certainly taken them down a few notches and I think there are some big adjustments being made to the new regime. They are relying too heavily on their athletes- who are great, but they are inconsistent.

Well Bama gets the win but their faithful won’t be happy. So that’s a good thing.

the matrix dodging GIF

The way Bama dodges bullets reminds me of Bullet Time in The Matrix.
