No. This isn't on any MSU sites. My best friend goes to West Virginia and said it's being reported on their message boards. I did ask Rosebowl on my friends account if he knows anything.

I don't have one. My friend who goes to WVU and keeps up with recruiting just texted me. I haven't searched their message boards, but he has a Rivals account so I would imagine that's where he got his info from. Take it for what you will. I'm just passing along the info I have been given.

Well I know his family really wants him to stay close to home and Starkville is less than 3hrs from Memphis. He's going to be behind Geno Smith at WVU who's a freshmen right now, they already have another QB committed so he's got alot of work to do to get on the field up there. Now, our depth chart doesn't look that great to him either, but he's the only type of QB like himself that would be on our roster and he fits Mullen's offense PERFECTLY. I still think he wouldn't play and get red shirted next year.
Reguardless, it's good Mullen is still working his *** off and isn't giving up yet. I commend Mullen for this.</p>

I don't think he's worth our time. He has committed to West Virginia, so just let him be. With the way our luck has been lately, him visiting will piss off mini-Favre and cause him to go to USM where he becomes a legend.

If true, why in the hell would you take a visit in the middle of January if you are truly committed to WV? At least Cam got a football game out of the deal. I don't care to check the schedule, maybe there's a basketball game that night. Maybe there is a chance in hell he is considering changing his mind.

There has to be an element of interest on the Brunetti side. Until Mullen proves to me that he's a complete dumb ***, I'm going to assume he would just tell Brunetti, "thanks, but good luck at WV" if he really thought Brunetti was going to visit as some sort of thank you gesture. That's a complete waste of the staff's time entertaining a kid that has no intention of committing to your school.
I just don't see Mullen chasing down recruits where there is little chance of bagging. Perhaps he's just on the rebound after getting burned by Cam and he's getting desperate to land a big name QB that fits the offense well? But, like I said, I'm still giving Mullen the benefit of the doubt until he proves to be an incompetent recruiter. I still think there is a slight chance we land Brunetti, but I'm going to go ahead and prepare myself knowing that Favre will likely be the only QB we sign this year with a name we are familiar with.
