Forsythe wouldn’t be a starting pitcher for Central Arkansas. He shouldn’t even be on a SEC roster
Good God, can we stop recruiting Forsythes? How do we have multiple pitchers that can't make it through a 17ing inning? This mid week experiment might cost us the game. After this last weekend I'm taking a break from this team if we lose today.
And the bottom of our order continues to be non competitive easy outs. I don't know how Spalitta got on this team.

Is our pitching staff so bad we cant have a midweek starter?
I mean i get the idea of letting everoyne get work so everyone is fresh for the weekend. But if you throw 5-6 pitchers, it only takes 1 to be bad and you end up in a bind.
Throwing stevens for 5 innings and letting him set the tone is a better idea to me. Even if he isnt available again until Sunday. But what do I know?

This is beyond embarrassing. It's 2 steps forward, 1 step back with this team all year long.
Lemonis should be fired if for no other reason than allowing Mershon to cut his hair.
Pitiful. The game plan sucked, and we slept walked through it. I mean do the coaches even care about mid week games? When you are only getting one on the weekend these midweek games help keep your record reasonable and keep you in the postseason talk.
Honest probably a tough turn around.

Dammit. You jinxed them. Bases loaded, 1 out, down by 1, and out 2 all-star hitters both strike out.
Jordans gotta be better than that. With his speed unlikely they were gonna turn a double play. Fly ball scores a run. Cant strike out in that spot.

Played good this past weekend and found a way to lose 2 out of 3 instead of sweeping. I'm sure it took a lot of the moral and now we play bad today to lose. You know winner win and loser lose.

If we are bunting our lead off guy in that spot. We might need to re-evaluate whose leading off. No way Rowdy or Jake are bunting in that spot... nor are most of the lead off guys in the league.

I think chances of making the tournament are pretty much over. It's gonna take 15 SEC wins for sure. Just too many bad losses. And it's hard to see this team going on the kind of sustained winning streak it would take.
Maybe we should quit baseball and take up horseshoes and hand grenades - at least closeness counts in those.

Nah Mizzou is God awful. Thats the 1st team out. Auburn only has 1 win and thry are pretty bad too. We can get 14 or 15 wins with our home schedule if we can just win 1 here and there at Oxford or Vandy. 14 wins is my low ball right now.
