Apathy. Even the gamecock sites are barely talking about this team and doing little to cover it. I know basketball is great right now and has interest but when it is done and people look at this team and record, they won’t care and will tune out. Apathy is death nail of a program and kingston has us in that spot.

This is what you get when the coach is a mind numbed robot. The team, the media, the fans all lose interest.

Yep. You know what would cure apathy? Head Coach Landon Powell.
I have to believe Ray Tanner is thinking hard about a change and I have to believe Landon is top of the list.
I credit Tanner for retaining Staley and hiring Paris, and I hold him responsible for the state of Gamecock baseball. Of all the sports, he should be capable of hiring a successful baseball coach, and success at South Carolina is Omaha.
A lot of our guys have a hard time grasping the concept that if they never make contact it’s hard to score runs.
There is no excuse. Of all the coaches, baseball should have been one which had his focus with the desire to build upon something he personally started. Instead, he watches as it goes into the toilet.
Might as well. He leaves kids in there that are struggling and basically lets them fail. He is by far the worst game manager that I have witnessed at this level.
Development has been MIA under Kingston. I hate that the most because I like the players
