If we were going to get in our own way ,it was going to be against Mizzou.

Beamer has mentioned several times that he reads stuff...... various stuff...... I'd be absolutely shocked if he didn't read these message boards....although he will never admit that publicly. (Rightfully so)

So....Coach Beamer, when you watch the game tape - you have got to realize the only reason we were in a position to pull a massive, *MASSIVE* choke job was your inexplicable decisions to not take pts when they were there for the taking, not punting when we should have, and lining up for a QB sneak when we needed a full yard........

QB sneaks are for "inches" - not yard/s......

Just........ utterly, *UTTERLY* boneheaded decisions. This team won this game in spite of you.

PS.... tell Sanders to stop tap dancing at the line of scrimmage trying to bust a big one every run. Not gonna happen.
PSS.... notice the game film, #3 on D is scared to hit anyone. Whiffed twice tonight and one time he looked like he was just "hugging" the defender. (1st qtr)

To Loggains (??) - Incredible call on the shuffle pass. I knew it was a TD immediately. Even said "incredible call" before Sanders even scored. Ok, I'm done.

I have no idea what he was thinking with those two 4th down calls. The team bailed him out, but, man, those were BAD calls. Just because we won doesn't make up for the fact that they were very bad calls. We won in spite of those calls.

I can guarantee you Beamer is breathing a GIANT sigh of relief. If we'd lost, those two 4th down plays would have been talked about for years.

When fortune goes your way after you get stuffed on 4th down because your o-line can’t get you a yard due to a clock issue, you need to take it as a sign and either punt or at least change your play call. I love that he has faith in the guys, but dang man, sometimes you just gotta take emotion out of it.

They’re only ‘bad’ when they don’t work.

The ones that would have been ‘talking about it for years’ are the ones that initially decreed Sellers and Harbor as duds.

When your qb is 240 and your 4th down success rate has been high, damn right you go for it.

Missouri burred up and made plays. Simple as that. They’re a good team.

I think what bugs me is when we do this kinda stuff in the first half or early in the game. I'm ok with taking necessary risks, not so much for unnecessary risks... especially if you feel you have a pretty good team. Smells of desperation sometimes. I guess few and far between is ok... but that is not what I see.

It was a little weird. Like Beamer forgot we have the best punter in the country. Maybe he didn't trust the defense?!?
