I’m still a Beamer believer. Need to get better players in. And it we’ll see how he handles coaching staff going forward as there are some weaknesses.
This game was going to be difficult to win. I was more disappointed in how we played than the result. Still, not sure we’re going to find anything out there better than Beamer at this point. He’s either going to win big, or look really silly flaming out.

As bad as we played, after Anderson's TD run, we were still in it - just no protection for Rattler to make a comeback. The pick 6 before half was a killer mistake. I thought we gave effort to keep it as close as it was with no offense. Could easily have been a lot worse.
Nobody fears Beamer and he doesn't have the nads to hold his assistants time highest standard.

We lost and graduated a lot of key players from lastyear, especially on the lines of scrimmage. We have average talent right now. Problem is, the rest of the SEC East has above average to great talent. You will have to wait for the man to build through recruiting. Vince Lombardi couldn’t coach this team to a 7-9 win season against the teams we have to play this year.

Sadly in 120 years of football we’ve yet to find the answer. I like what Beamer has done so far. He’s learning a bit on the fly. The landscape of CFB has changed a lot and is going to continue to change. We could be well-positioned for the future with Beamer and I think that’s what our athletic department is banking on. But there’s a good chance we won’t be, because this is who we always have been.
Of all nights to write Beamer off, this one isn’t it. I hate losing to UT, but right now they are simply better. On the road. Revenge game. This was going to be difficult.
It’s still too early to confirm anything on Beamer. If I was betting, I’d say it won’t end well, because I’d bet based on the past 120 years. But that’s all. He’s far better than some of the bums we’ve had in the past.

Opposing coaches have figured out how to recruit against him and how to coach against him. We all had hoped that he brought in assistants from smaller schools that nobody really knew who would bust out. It didn’t happen and frankly he’s not wily like a Spurrier an he’s not a win or else guy like Dabo. 3 years straight and we have no LOS, no real RB and we can’t adjust in-game. This isn’t going to change gentlemen.

This isn't a really talented roster this year. Lots of holes from the portal and graduation. The top wr out right off the bat didn't help either. No running backs and a patchwork defense isn't going to cut it especially when the oline is as bad as this one. This is basically a very good qb team with very little help around him. I didn't expect much this year and thought they'd struggle.
He hasn’t lost me. I wasn’t a fan of the hire, and thought it was a massive mistake. But through his first 2 years he turned me. Having said that, his unforced coaching errors are baffling. Let RBs be RBs, let WRs be WRs. The DK and Doty experiments are laughable. They need to end immediately. In the portal era you can’t just try to find a spot for someone that can’t find the field at his position. We desperately need a downfield WR option other than X. UT just removed him from the game and it was like taking 7s security blanket away. We got nothing left. And the answer is Doty?? That’s the kind of stuff that will lose me. Then you get up there immediately after the game for the 3rd week in a row and talk about how Russel and Nyck need to play more and get more opportunities.

I think you have to give Beamer 6-7 years to grow. Getting a new coach every 3-4 years isn’t cutting it. Let’s try something different, and give the guy some time AS LONG AS he’s not spitting out only 3-4 wins a year. And Joyner and Doty should not be on the field.

I can't put it all on Beamer, He's had two full recruiting classes and the portal give/take has really hurt us, you can't have patchwork/transfer/freshmen lines and no trues rb and compete in this league, plus our db's have been not as advertised so far this year! I will reserve judgement until he has four full recruiting cycles, but he has to stop the portal exits and I'm not sure if that is possible on our current budget!

That is too long of a window, imho.
The flip side of that, is that he is the coach responsible for that OL and that RB situation.
The transfer portal should make things easier, not harder when it comes to building an oline in year 3.
Frustrated, but this a chicken and the egg type situation. You can't blame the coaches because the players aren't there. But who is to blame for the players not being there?
