And we are still paying “Chump” off so we are handcuffed to pay people to come here. Would love to hire a head-hunter DC, but can we afford one, no.
I don’t believe in Muschamp’s third year…we had the transfer portal and paying players.
Makes it harder as players can leave for much more prestigious programs with a lot more money.
It might or might not be true but I feel like Beamer has more of a team and Muschamp had a bunch or me guys. Muschamp brought in some really good talent but could never put that on the field. Muschamp also didn't have to contend with the transfer portal as much or with NIL. This is a different era. I think Beamer just needs time. We are going to have to keep bringing in top 25 classes and eventually put that on the field and slowly try to move on up.
Bryan Edwards Deebo Samuel Rico Dowdle Hayden Hurst Shi Smith. He had an NFL roster for an offense and could barely get to a bowl game. Sorry but context matters with records. Beamer deserves some criticism, but we can't act like he didn't take a 2-win team and make a bowl then beat UNC. Whenever you decide to build a program through high school recruiting it does take time. I mean we could have had instant success if we pulled a FSU but IDK if the funds were there lol.
If our worst-case scenario is realized and we finish the season with wins over Furman, Vandy, Jacksonville St and what looks to be a pretty bad MSU team, some tough questions will have to be answered.

So are some of you asking to get back on the coaching carousel or asking questions to fix our problems. We had major problems on the offensive line and RB earlier. We aren't perfect, but much better. I think coach DL is doing a good job. Our problems aren't talent, I think it's effort and it's up to the coaches to get the effort out of them team.
Anyone that thinks we need to fire Beamer at this point is being silly. Beamer might not work out, but the last thing we need is to be coach shopping after just firing a coach after only giving them 3 years. We're not the kind of program that can do that.
