Beamer said postgame: "But like every game, win or lose, we always get back to work on Sunday morning, and see what the issues are, what we did well, what we didn’t do well."

Let me help you out coach: we didn't do anything well.

Coach, save yourself and your family, get out now before you are run out of town, you are not head coach material especially in the SEC, Tanner selected you because no one else wanted the job.

I would say Tanner hired Beamer:
* because Tanner lacks the contacts in the college football world
* wanted to go cheap because this last lousy fired coach cost so much to fire

He won't, he will just put his sunglasses on and make another stupid *** video acting like he's the most wanted college football coach in the nation and everyone will be rubbing his feet with oil.

Beamer is young, energetic, and well liked by recruits. He just has to make a change at OC and move forward.

Yep. Beamer needs to realize that his head coaching career here hangs in the balance of this decision. There’s no shame in admitting you made a bad hire as a rookie head coach. Where he earns his money now is by realizing there’s a problem, diagnosing the problem, and making decisions to fix the problem. I get that Satterfield is his friend. This is the inherent risk in hiring your friends, but that’s just the decision he has to make.

It looked like to me our offense was confused most of the game. If I were Beamer I would have Satterfield in my office Sunday morning. This ultimately falls on Beamer as he needs to take charge. Either Satterfield simplifies the offensive scheme or he gets let go.

Yep, he screwed up with the hire. Now he’s gotta fix it.

Nothing against Beamer. Next year will be telling and I hope he is successful. But Ray Tanner hired on the cheap to make up for his botched Muschamp hire and Beamer is a hail-mary. If nothing else he will buy Tanner 4 or 5 more years. 4 or 5 more years that Ray Tanner doesn’t deserve to be here.

<cough> And QB, and <cough> find another RB / OL / DL / *BIG FELLA* that can bulldoze straight ahead for 1 simple freakin' yard....... We're actually ok but those 2 positions cost us this game. Also <cough> whatever the magic # is for your recruiting board on OL / DL men - *DOUBLE IT*

It just amazes me how long rattler takes to call a play, looking at the sideline making signals talking the whole time, stepping up, talking looking at the sidelines, hand signaling, talking the whole time, stepping back clapping hesitating clapping again and getting a delay of game! Does it have to be that f’n difficult? I watched tenn. no huddle and it takes about 3 seconds, they’re running plays not clock!

Way to early to toss Beamer. Give him time.

Beamer needs to learn young if he wants a long career as a head coach - emotion has no place in business decisions! Make the change at OC - that's what smart coaches do.

Didn't we get a delay of game on the first play of a drive?

I believe that's an accomplishment by itself.

Beamer is salvageable. But he'll have to grow a set and do what he has to do to fix that staff down there. Doing precisely that is what kept that boy up at UPC from being the next Tommy Bowden.

I think some of that has got to be the offensive system. In one of our games earlier this year, maybe UK, one of the announcers read out an example of a play call from pro-style offense. It was absurd. Whereas an offense like UT might have just "Red 42" the one he read for a pro-style was a full dadgum sentence.
