Antwane who is currently Ole Miss' 4th best receiver
Flip side: Ole Miss whooped us, might be best team in the SEC, and is headed to the palyoffs
He'd be a star here... instead of Turf Toe 'Twayne (feel free to use this nickname that I just penned).True, but not because of anything Antwane has done. They'd be where they are without him. He's merely a passenger, which I guess he's ok with.
Definitely highlights some of the risks with the portal. Yeah, he's playing for a better team and will get play in a game or two more than we get to play in. But he's been less than an afterthought this year on the national scene for WR discussion. His name doesn't come up at all. He'd be a star here... instead of Turf Toe 'Twayne (feel free to use this nickname that I just penned).
Honestly, I'm not sure how ready Sellers was (and still is to a much lesser extent today vs. September) to sling it around. We've watched the growing pains. Given what we know, 'Twayne probably would have been a problem in the locker room if he wasn't getting the ball. He also could've opened things up for Harbor if he was taking double teams. We'll never know. What we do know is that Ole Miss is down two receivers and his numbers are still not very good.Definitely highlights some of the risks with the portal. Maybe his '22 season was a fluke and he's really just not as good as we thought. I suspect, being a primary target here, though, he'd have put up much better stats than he has at Ole Miss.
I'm not convinced Kiffin didn't poach him from us just to make us weaker as a team since they were going to playing us this year.

Interesting about Kiffen's approach. Wouldn't put it past him. He takes the unpopular (and oftentimes dishonorable) path to victory.
