The Bears are deciding between Option A and B when they should go with Option C. Draft a QB at #1 and keep Fields. See what you get once you have him on your team. Is it a CJ Stroud?? Or is it a Bryce Young?? And then decide this time next year which QB to trade. If it’s close, you gotta keep the new guy because of the cheap long term contract. But gives you the option to abort and stick with Fields if he remains the much better option.
