I’d say the Terminator Tech Noir scene

Robocop steel mill scene

Gangs of New York ending scene
The “hello, my name is inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die” scene from princess bride

the opening scene of inglorious bastards

andy dufrane disappearing from his cell and the montage of how he did it in shawshank

any 5 minutes of heath ledger as the joker

neo leaving the matrix (you can’t experience it for the first time again, but my mind was blown)

A few possibilities (no idea if they are 5 minutes)...

Star Wars - Rebel attack on the Death Star

Saving Private Ryan - Normandy beach landing

The Revenant - Bear attack

Goodfellas - The long take when Henry and Karen enter the Copa for the first time (Scorsese showing absolute technical mastery)

I think the most powerful scene that gets little credit …Apocalypco…The main native character runs onto the beach…as he’s being chased by another native warrior ….only to run into the Spanish Armada.

Needs to be a full on bad *** movie portrayal of this moment in time

Don't know the distance but the freehanded muzzleloader shot killing the guy getting burned to death would have been a hell of a shot. Similar to Brody shooting the tank in Jaws' mouth off a bobbing/sinking boat with an M1 Garand he'd never fired before (I think the capacity is 8 rounds, so he was probably down to his last few chances).

Yeah that’s stretching it on using those guns to do that to say the least but the rest of sequence that basically requires no dialogue is incredible.

The “terminate with extreme prejudice” scene in Apocalypse Now. Just guys sitting around talking but the tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. The Ezekiel 25:17 apartment scene in Pulp Fiction where Samuel L. Jackson showed what a badass he is.

greenbean beat me to Quint's and the Tarantino basement scene.

Not yet mentioned, are a couple of Woody Harrelson moments.

1. No Country For Old Men, his final exchange in the hotel room chair with Javier Barden.
2. His soliloquy in The Highway Men toward the end of the move about the Mexican massacre.

Saving Private Ryan- Private Wade's reminiscing about mom in the church was powerful.

But the Most powerful moment ever:

Lloyd Christmas' speech about being tired of being a nobody

And there's this scene from Bullet Train. Hard to pick one from Bullet Train as there are so many.

The shootout at the end of The Professional

The leadup to the failed battle in Paths of Glory

The Ferris wheel scene in The Third Man (sorry for swiping it, Maroon)

The opening space waltz in 2001 (ETA, hell, any of the flight sequences)

Glengarry Glen Ross monologue

And the last 10 or so minutes of The Usual Suspects, which I won't embed just in case.

Two great one-shot scenes:

The Revenant when the trapping camp is attacked by an Arikara war party.

The opening scene of Spectre.

No worries, Prediction? Pain.

I ❤️ The Third Man

PS: I’m a bit surprised it took so long for someone to post a Phoebe Cates gif
