Lavar. I thought Billy Sims was a great player. Drew Bledsoe was the best college qb I’ve seen. Jerome Brown against PSU in the Fiesta Bowl was the best individual performance ever.

Have to agree with Jim Brown; not only was he a great running back, he was an All- American Lacrosse player. BUT in my books -- it is Mike Reid. I know that I am a lot Prejudiced.

Live: Carter and Arrington. They both made everyone else look slow, and both were powerful strong.

I've never been to a pro game, but based on TV. I've never seen another player like Barry Sanders. Highlights of Gale Sayers, he might be close. Jim Brown just looked bigger and faster than everyone.

Go look at a Barry Sanders highlight reel, and then tell me of anyone that is close to it. He's the only guy that consistently made pro players look foolish.

I have seen a lot of great players, to narrow it down to one, I cannot do that. So I thought I would throw a few out there that I remember as impressing me when I was younger. Rosy Grier, Fed Biletnikoff, Joe Namath, Mel Blunt, Mike Webster, Rodger Staubach, Joe Green, Jack Lambert and Earl Campbell. Just a few to throw out for discussion.

For some reason, I've spent a bit of time thinking about this lately, and could not narrow it down to one- so I'll name two.

Jim Brown and Randy Moss
When I was at Pitt I watched Hugh Green totally wreck teams. Then I heard of this LB at North Carolina who would be drafted before Hugh and was a better overall player. I could not believe it until I saw Lawrence Taylor play.

Yeah, Green was a monster as a senior. I actually thought of mentioning him yesterday. He was a wrecking crew. Great great college player. Randy White too. Both men deserve mention.
