When I was at Pitt I watched Hugh Green totally wreck teams. Then I heard of this LB at North Carolina who would be drafted before Hugh and was a better overall player. Hugh Green was a beast. He and Ricky Jackson were excellent.When I was at Pitt I watched Hugh Green totally wreck teams. Then I heard of this LB at North Carolina who would be drafted before Hugh and was a better overall player. I could not believe it until I saw Lawrence Taylor play.
Yeah, Green was a monster as a senior. I actually thought of mentioning him yesterday. He was a wrecking crew. Great great college player. Randy White too.
