Baseball team has the best record ever through 26 games. This team is rockin'. Gotta be honest, every since we won the back-to-back titles and finished runner up, I kind of stopped following baseball so closely until it would get close to the end of the season and into the postseason because we fell off so quickly. This team is pretty fun though.

It all gets real next weekend though.

In April we play 3 top 5 teams in back-to-back-to-back weekends.

Right now we know this team is good. We don't really know how good yet because we haven't faced off against comparable competition. We've just been far better than everyone so far. April is gonna be big boy baseball. All 3 series are gonna be heavyweight matchups. These are measuring stick games. The outcome of that stretch will tell us just how good we are. So, yeah, it gets real.

Agreed. I don't think UGA is that good. Mizzu is good though. They swept UT, who was top 5 I believe at the time. They're currently 11th. That was a tough test and we passed with flying colors. The month of April is going to be on another level though.

Yeah, Mizzou is pretty good.

If we can come out of that April stretch 5-4 or better, I think that will be fantastic.

I hope Sanders gets it together and keeps his pitches down in the strike zone. Walks followed by HR's have really hurt his outings.
Friday nights are critical to a good series and a must for a sweep!

I would feel much better about that stretch with Mcgillis in the lineup. He seemed to really be taking over the lead off role and setting the tone. Not to mention his solid defense. Tippett has been fine defensively, but we need more out of him at the plate
