I could never watch those Big 10 games on ESPN. Those noon games just scream "boring." I guess they may have some better matchups to show other than Iowa-Rutgers or Minnesota-Northwestern with the addition of Southern Cal and UCLA, however, it's still a boring brand.

Hope the SEC will bring in other bidders when its contract expires. The SEC, being the best conference, should be the highest paid. Have read some reports that ESPN is not that financially secure. Read that a SEC game at 3:30 is worth approximatey 50M$. While a B10 game in same time slot is worth 350M$. That can't be right but if it is the SEC needs to address that.

I think Disney owns 80% of ESPN. I have not heard that Mickey Mouse is having financial troubles. Then again, they are not on my stock watchlist either.

They have been, and hope to continue to do so. They've had one of their biggest dips ever recently. Everything woke goes to ****, remember?

I think that the B1G having three network outlets is significant. But take a look at this article, which foresees the deal the B1G just signed and lays it aside the deal already signed between ESPN, ABC, Disney et al, and the SEC. Especially notice the matrices. https://footballscoop.com/news/data-firm-projects-sec-100-million-revenue-end-of-decade. Looks to me that after being a little in the hole early, the SEC is going to soar financially within this decade.
