I'm confused, if the ACC blows up, then wouldn't the suits and fees disappear for FSU and Clemson?

When was the last time NC State won a conference championship in Footbball? During the Dick Sheridan era? NC State has never played in the ACC Championship game in football. This would be a good move for wolfpack so they can compete with teams that are not monsters. If NC State moves to Big 12 it gives them a legitimate chance making the NCAA Playoffs in football
