Better than it being the safety. I remember when people used to brag about all of the tackles Josh Morgan made, I always thought that is not a good thing.

Nah...its bad if you letting them get passed your LB. And of course plenty of time Bookie and Jet were dropping them behind the line of scrimmage.

Having 2 players so high in the tackles stat isn't necessarily a good thing. It means your defense was on the field for a lot of plays. In our case, 2nd most in the SEC behind Mississippi. Of the top 20 in the SEC, 3 were from Alabama and 1 was from LSU. None from Georgia or Tennessee.
