Well unless they join the NFL, I don't see it happening and you already have your three national championships.

I went to Muirfield in 2002 and saw Els win it in extra holes. The funny thing is the tickets are extremely easy to buy. Hell they were selling them online, at the train station, in coffee houses, etc. It is a blast.

My list:

1. The Masters
2. World Cup Finals with US in it
3. CWS finals with MSU
4. NC game in football

but the first World Series game at Wrigley Field since 1945. That'd be one of my top events. I can only imagine the party. The NLCS in 2003 looked like a wild enough party. The first game in Wrigley breaking the curse of the Billy Goat would be wild.

Tennis was meant to be played on a hardcourt or occasionally on the green clay they use in the U.S. I just don't like grass court tennis or red clay. But besides all that, for some reason I've just always liked the Aussie Open. I hate they changed the surface this year though. The slow hardcourt they had been using gave most all types of players a chance to win.

I would have liked Wrestlemania 18, Triple H vs. Jericho and Rock vs. Hogan.

This year's Boston Marathon was Monday. My brother went and said it was great. Much better than he expected.

Well I hate to differ, but you must have meant US Tennis.
Tennis was originally called Lawn Tennis and played only on grass lawns.
Personally I would rather play on rubico clay courts than any other surface, hard courts can really wear on your knees.

Basically a city wide party with a bunch of drunk asses cheering on a bunch of really in shape people. I'd really like to qualify and actually do it, but there's a better chance of MSU baseball making the post season this year (read: impossible).

for true matchups?

I'm a clay fan myself. Then again, it's all we had growing up, but I like being able to slide a little.

Best at serving and volleying maybe.

To win on clay you have to have a better all-around game.

Maybe we should have a Six-Pack Tennis Tourney.

Mine are:

The Cardinals winning the World Series in St. Louis.
MSU winning the CWS in Omaha.
MSU winning the Sugar Bowl against anyone.
Just go to a Super Bowl- I fear that it might actually be better to watch it on TV.

Some non-Big 3 sporting events that would be cool:

The Iditarod
A BIG TIME Heavy Weight title fight (hard to do since boxing is dead, especially the heavy weights)
The Indy 500
The Kentucky Derby
Night Race at Bristol
A Bull Fight
I've also heard NHRA events are amazing

My dream is to go to every major leage stadium at least once to see a game.

So far I have been to 17 current major league stadiums. My number was 20 but there are three teams in new stadiums where I have not been, but I did go to the old stadiums.

I have seen a major league No Hitter, Jeff Brantley's major league debut, McGuires 70th Home Run, an NLCS, The Red Sox win the world series, The Cardinals win the World Series, a Pujols walk off homer in the 14th inning, and lots of other great plays, great pitching performances, and great hitters in person.

Other than baseball, I would love to see all four games of the final four.

is pretty damn cool (went in 98) and is something every American guy should experience at least once. That said, it is not something I could go to every year as I think it would get old; of course I'm not a huge racing fan and oval tracks are my least favorite.

But there's a reason most tennis is played on hard courts and that's because the hard court is a much better surface. I like the Rubico too, even though you do get more bad bounces on it. And I strongly disagree with you that you have to have a better all-around game to win on clay. It certainly takes different skills to win on clay but not a better all-around game. If you can just push the ball back over the net very consistently you can be successful on clay. You actually have to have some shot-making ability to win on a hard court (or grass for that matter). Red claycourt tennis is just plain boring.
