So you're saying that his road map to a major league job is Oregon State, then MSU, then the pros? Why? Why does he have to prove something at State or anywhere else? Is he less attractive if he wins 2 more national championships at Oregon State than anywhere else?

I mean, it's the national tournament. I would understand your point if he was just winning the PAC10, but he's winning the whole thing.

Pro baseball promotes from within the pro baseball ranks, they don't hire college coaches. If he wanted to coach in pro baseball, he would have needed to start in pro baseball.
