Why is everyone melting down over this guy ? Already wanting to pay that huge buyout. Saban went 26 and 12 his first 3 years there. What did they expect ?

I don't think he is a good coach for LSU level athletes. I have been underwhelmed since they hired him. He also sent a kid to his death.
Nobody has done less with more in the southeastern conference, make that the entire college football landscape.
Yeah, I meam how’d they lose 3 last year with Daniels, Nabors, and Brian Thomas Jr.?
Pretty inexcusable…..just asleep at the wheel on defense.
You can generally make that statement about LSU over the last 80 years of college football.
That was baked in though as it happened well before he was hired.
Brian Kelly is a good coach that is not a Saban or Meyer type coach.
He seems to be a bad fit at LSU, but this is the first year that he has the chance to really do badly.
The reality is that even with all of LSU's advantages, without the next Saban or Meyer, this is what they're going to be. They will be championship caliber in the up years and lose 2 or 3 in normal years, and occasionally drop to that 8-4 or even 7-5 range, although they really shouldn't drop to 7 wins with their advantages unless they have a particularly bad draw with scheduling.
