And there's that pass he didn't catch in the end zone in the bowl.
The best play was when he left. No one here needs that.
This is really a pathetic situation considering how well we finished out the year. What gives and when will the bleeding stop? At least he played in the bowl I suppose. Looking more and more like a rebuild next year.
Still one of the stupidest plays I've ever seen.
Kids are more interested in making money than winning football games. I'm not coming from the family and social background that a lot of these kids are so I'm not knocking them for it. While it looks a tad short sighted, most of these kids aren't going to the NFL or won't stick if they do.
Ranks up there with the pass to Brandon Shell, a proud moment of the Shawn Elliott regime, & also with the failed reverse down on the goal line vs. Tillman, 1997........totatally changed the outcome of that game.
What happens if he goes to Oregon and fails to earn a starting spot? His NIL money will dry up quick.
He'll have better stats out there because the competition will be much less. MUCH less.
This form of "College Football " is getting old really quick. I'll just watch nfl. They at least have contracts and the entire league can't enter free agency every year....
