We can give it a shot but in the past Cael has not been very willing to open up about injuries, rehab, etc. But, it's always worth trying!Greg,
The next interview with Cael. Could you please get an update on Robbie Howard ? Has he been doing any working out Etc
I guess asking about Will Betancourt is out? LolWe can give it a shot but in the past Cael has not been very willing to open up about injuries, rehab, etc. But, it's always worth trying!
Would be a similar result. It's one of those weird situations where the question should and needs to be asked but it also wastes time in what is already typically a short availability so, it's a give and take there. But both are fair questions, without question.I guess asking about Will Betancourt is out? Lol
They both attend M2 if that tells you anything. DT club. Bassett is also very close to the Gibson brothers. Think they are cousins. McCourt guys tend to stay together. Will see tho.I know it's waaay early, but do you know where PSU stands in the recruiting of the two Bishop McCourt kids: Forrest & Bassett? They seem like true difference makers.
Also, is it all concerning that some of PSU's 2023 & 24 recruits haven't really dominated in these early season tournaments?

Glad you looked everything up, that was on my to do list today. I didn't have time last night. Recruits are doing fine. That's a somewhat selective evaluation.
Amongst the 2023 recruits, Braedon Davis, Tyler Kasak, and Josh Barr are the super elite. Davis and Barr have done very well in the early season tournaments. Barr lost at Who's #1, but that's about it. And Kasak has elected to forego his senior season, so he's not competing in any tournaments. Cael Nasdeo, Brendan Wentzel, and AJ Fricchione are very good prospects; just not quite at the super elite level. They've done pretty well in early season tournaments; winning what they expected to win, and not exceeding their seeds. That said, Nasdeo had a very close loss to the World Champ in the recent Powerade, so don't undersell his performance.
PSU only has three 2024 recruits. All three are super elite. Unfortunately, one of them, Zach Ryder, is out for the season with an injury, so he has not competed in any tournaments. Joe Sealy just won Powerade, so I'm not sure what more you are looking for. Bishop McCort isn't allowed to compete in the PIAA this season, so they're reduced to occasional tournaments, but that's about it. Mason Gibson was in Ironman last month, and lost in UTB in the semis. That's not dominance, but 1) it's pretty darn good, and 2) with McCort's lack of ongoing competition, you have to keep things in perspective when evaluating Mason.
