Not sure if the coaches knew about this, but not a good look for the USC QB. Love how Utah trolled him afterwards.

That’s cute! My daughters do something like this around Christmas when they go to the nail salon together, except they have things like “faith” and “merry” painted on their nails. Still, same idea! I wonder if he got a special fancy hairdo like they do as well?

Utah QB Cam Rising had a very blunt reaction to Caleb Williams’ vulgar message on his nails for the PAC-12 title game.

The Heisman front-runner and USC QB painted “F*ck Utah” on his nails, and that turned out to be a tough look when the Utes hammered the Trojans 47-24. After the game, Rising was asked about William’s message and he took the opportunity to twist the knife after burying USC’s playoff chances.

“Don’t give a sh*t. It is what it is. You can do whatever you want. Put whatever you want on your nails. I’m not going to judge you for whatever you do, but hope you liked it,” Rising told the media after the game.

I know that not all Heisman winners are choir boys but I honestly hope he doesn’t get it for the simple reason that I find that to be so low class that by itself it makes him in undeserving of being given that award. I guess in his terms I hope the voters say “F’him”

He does it all the time. Had F ND painted last week. Fits the Lincoln Riley QB profile. He will be just perfect for the Cleveland Browns.
So then he'll be an NFL flop, just like all other Cleveland Browns QBs in the past two or three decades.

Looks like he has an NIL deal for his nails. Good for him he’s making a few bucks off the hype around it. But I really think this type of image will cost him in the long run. Bad look IMHO.

Looks like its his mother's nail salon. Plus:

Look at ME! Look at ME! Look at ME, damn it!!
Well he does back it up. Played 3/4 of the game last night with a pulled hammy. Very accurate, good arm, good mobility, only 6'1" (but you never see the size hinder him). True Sophomore. Yes he really started the NIL free agency transfer movement (he used the rules), and yes he has an abundance of confidence. Personally I don't blame him for that---he is the best QB in college football

If it feels right, it is? Man, that’s some dangerous thinking. Well done, mom!

I watched the pregame and they were talking about how Riley had a requirement for basically his all-star team of transfers, they had to buy in to the "team" mentality. They continued beating this dead horse about how one scintilla of "me first" and USC was not interested and would cut off "recruiting" instantly. It was hard to reconcile with the segment on Caleb Williams doing just that. He really came off as not very likable and kind of an idiot. Looking back, I suppose that hype did what it was supposed to. It gave me a rooting interest.

You’d think a a Gonzaga kid would have more class.
Eh, one could argue that this is exactly the type of behavior that may result from a modern day Jesuit education.

Going OT a bit - I don’t know about DC Catholic schools, but it seems the Philly Catholic schools have been going downhill for the last 40 years. The idea of discipline and standards went out the window with the need to keep enrollment up and tuition money coming in. I expect if a kid is a star athlete there is even less accountability. I recently saw a picture on the internet of the 2 star players at Roman Catholic (Lyons and Denmark) and they actually looked worse trying to half-*** it by wearing a tie and collared shirt (top button was wide open with tie sagging and their hair seemed completely unkept and they needed a shave badly). Hard to believe that Catholic parents at one time would justify paying the tuition based on a dress code alone.

And then the very talented low class QB went over and pouted and cried on the bench rather than show any sportsmanship. Not that I am shocked.

Probably deserves the Heisman, but hope he does not get it.

There are often disconnects between what a coach presents as his "requirements" and what he'll tolerate to get the talent he wants.

This is embarrassing. Hard to watch big time college or pro athletics these days. Another look at me. We looked, as you and your team got your a$$ kicked. Gone are the days of success with honor. Sad.

He put the towel over his head. I disagree he doesn't deserve the Heisman, character should matter, it doesn't these days but it should.

Also, it needs be said, no man should willingly paint their nails. Not a good look.

Best? Most talented perhaps. A Leader? Nope.

4 months from now he’ll likely be the #1 pick and quite wealthy. 4 years from now he’ll likely be living in a van down by the river.
