There are often disconnects between what a coach presents as his "requirements" and what he'll tolerate to get the talent he wants.
Yes, that makes me think about why I, and probably many here, even care. I grew up esteeming a certain coach who was consistent with regard to what his requirements were. It set the standard and there weren't many others with the fortitude to walk that walk. In fairness to CJF, that is definitely one of his better attributes as well.

And then the very talented low class QB went over and pouted and cried on the bench rather than show any sportsmanship. Not that I am shocked.

Probably deserves the Heisman, but hope he does not get it.
I read on another board that 60% of the Heisman votes are already in so he's probably already wrapped it up - unfortunately.

Just can't stand Lincoln Riley or any of his players. His Oklahoma teams came across as idiots too

That’s cute! My daughters do something like this around Christmas when they go to the nail salon together, except they have things like “faith” and “merry” painted on their nails. Still, same idea! I wonder if he got a special fancy hairdo like they do as well?
Alex I will take homophobic for $500 please.

Doesn’t the pitt QB paint “F*CK PSU” on his nails for every game?

I would want my kid playing for Lincoln Riley. NOT

Afterward, Riley said that Williams "popped" his hamstring on that long first-quarter run.

"I asked him at one point, I was like, 'Are you 50 percent?'" Riley said. "And I mean, he was not even close to 50 percent. I definitely thought about taking him out. ... He wouldn't have let me. He wouldn't even let me take him out at the end."

Riley called the performance one of the gutsiest he has witnessed. Williams, meanwhile, described the feeling of his injury as that of an old rubber band.

Best? Most talented perhaps. A Leader? Nope.

4 months from now he’ll likely be the #1 pick and quite wealthy. 4 years from now he’ll likely be living in a van down by the river.
So the NFL changed its rules?

So much guts, no room for class.

Who the hell cares? More important things concern me. I guess I have a life.
And yet here you are commenting on something you don’t care about on a message board. Must be one hell of a great life you have.

I may be out of line speaking for others, but I'd be willing to bet none of us really care that terribly much and have more important things in our lives as well.
