That tweet sums up the craziness. If nothing else, this may give some insight into how much player success depends on coaching(ability & preference) vs just player talent. My guess is that few of these players lack raw talent, something just isn't clicking with them at their current place. I'll be interested in someone's hard work an analysis after about 5 years of this transfer rule being in place.

Whenever the new CFB video game comes out, I’d be interested to see how they handle the transfer portal. Although knowing EA it won’t even be a thing in the game.
