Is that the same "science" that mass vaccinated for a flu like virus that crept on the world stage unceremoniously without being tested thoroughly?
The research that’s gone on in food science has been done over decades.

Uhh, yeah, kinda. I have no desire to revive COVID threads of 4 years ago but vaccines in general have been helpful to mankind.

But hey let's bring back polio because some nimrod today thinks a vaccine gave his snot nose spoiled kid a peanut allergy.
Ok, I was just checking...

I don't want to revive COVID threads either, but I also won't believe everything I'm being told from people that lied about the vaccines that were supposed to save the world from flu+. I'm sure the population by some degree are happy we were able to purge some elderly and also throw in some 30 and 40 year olds for the sake of "save the world".

There is no actual evidence that the vaccine irradiated polio or if it was the natural course of the illness as we have already seen with covid. No long-term studies have been done, and no studies on the effects with children as they grow.
Polio was probably a combination of DDT/Lead/Arsenic poisoning. When they stopped using these, especially DDT, Polio disappeared.

What level of douche are you?

I simply thought I’d seen it all with diets already, now we have clowns guzzling steaks, eggs, butter and oil. Going against hundreds of years of science.
Sorry man. The Seven Countries Study and the Framingham Study are known frauds. The corrupted scientists were in the back pockets of industry.

Holy smokes

Polio is a virus. Why would using or not using DDT have to do anything with polio?

You do realize that we all still consume lead and arsenic in just about everything we consume. It’s in the dirt, water, and air because they are naturally occurring.

Correlation does not equal causation.

Btw, if a certain “diet” works great for you to achieving a health goal or a weight goal ect then I’m all for it. Once achieved, then a certain lifestyle change is needed to maintain. “Diets” are short term solutions and in most cases diets don’t work in the long term, because most are not sustainable. Then when not on the particular “diet” anymore, and without a sustainable and consistent lifestyle change, things usually start to go back to the way they were before. Personally speaking, every day for several years now I intermittently fast, and typically consume insulin spiking calories within a 6-8 hour consecutive window. Every now and then I’ll go shorter and even 24 hours. In the morning I drink black coffee with either a little gee or coconut oil in it, then black tea. After that I nurse a green tea until I consume calories so start my window. Within that window I eat really healthy and I also enjoy myself especially for supper. I drink some wine and tequila most nights, and I exercise regularly and consistently. would be considered to be in really great shape for someone my age, especially here in Mississippi 😂. My motto is that all of life is about balance. Most “diets” per say are not about balance. Also make sure you’re drinking enough water.

I also do not want to go down a long Covid hole, but if you still call what they pushed on us vaccines, I'd encourage you to at least go far enough to realize they had to actually change the definition of vaccine to get away with that BS.

back in 2020 and 2021 I was my lowest weight and overall body health since I left college. 39 and 40yo me was way healthier than even 27-33yo me.
Thanks Covid-
- walked 2-4mi per day on 2 dog walks or hikes in various woods.
- rode more miles than years past.
- rode more frequently than years past.
- tore out our finished basement, even the studs, and rebuilt it with family help for 6 weeks.
- never got crap breakfast on the way to work.
- rarely ate crap lunch when out.
- 95% of what I ate was cooked at home.
- eliminated coke and dr pepper.

17, that was really good living!

As for a carnivore diet- I cant imagine being successful on that. No way.

I think we all agree on refined carbs. They essentially act like sugar in the body, with a slightly lower GI rating.

What I push back on is the unlimited intake of saturated fats. Calories are still calories, and any fat packs a lot of them. Plus excess saturated fat does indeed lead to heart disease.
I don’t mean that calories are not important because they are but not all calories are them same. Different calories or different forms of energy have different impacts on your hormones particularly insulin. You can lose weight on a low fat diet and you can lose weight on a low carb diet. What is really hard to do is to lose weight and keep it off when over consume energy/calories from fat and carbs together. Because I ate the standard American diet for years I have hard time losing weight consuming carbs. If I prioritize protein and the fat that naturally comes with it I am more satiated and eat less. However I can easily over eat if I eat carbs.

This is why I find rice and beans so effective in maintaining a reasonable weight. If I eat those things, I am much more satisfied and full than if I eat a sugary cereal or bread or something equivalent with similar calories.
