Agree. Looking at the numbers alone the UT game doesn't look great. But when you compare what we held them to vs their averages it was a great performance.The thing about that night and the next Saturday was defense. Yes the offense was incredible and even at Clemson was clicking in an overmatched situation.
But the D smacked two teams in the mouth who were not used to being hit.

Funny thing is, I watched the game with a friend of mine from church who is a massive UT fan, but he takes things way seriously. Like, gets genuinely mad when they lose. It made for a pretty awkward evening.
Got home and my wife met at the door. She was surprised I didn't look happier. She said "I thought you'd be giddy." I told her I was still processing it. I think I still am. My brain still can't compute what I saw that night.
