Well we are in his top 3 so there's a chance. Steve on Jeans page said UGA gave him a deadline so that's not good. I think we have a better shot than Clemson. I give us a 10% chance.

Has there been anything but unconfirmed rumors about Newton to AU? Can someone give me something substantive?

According to the recruiting pages, Auburn has yet to even offer Newton. They are hoping to give their final Juco slot to the TE Ken Adams.</p>

Everyone is acting like a bunch of damn junior high girls and overreacting to ever little bit of info that gets out there. I've yet to find anything that says he's committed or even been offered by Auburn. This guy has said very good things about every program he's visited. If you looked at it from the perspective of MSU, Auburn, or OU, you could probably make a legitimate case as to whey he's committing there (actually, Auburn probably ranks lowest on that list since many think they don't even want him). I don't think anyone is going to know until we hear it from Cameron himself. Until then, just hope the Mullen factor gives us the leg up on the others.
