Right on queue, pitt with a mental cramp....

Let the KO hit at the 2 and stop dead there. Well what would you expect. Can't be too smart and end up in Oakland....

And never could understand why Duzzy makes his QB run over to the sideline so the coaches can tell him the play on every play. Aren't their QB's smart enough to understand signals from the sideline?

I think I read it or heard during a broadcast that was a Whipple thing.

It's a Whipple thing to hand out Pitt diplomas to graduating seniors.

No Pickett, so Nick “Peppermint“ Patti got the start. He got hurt on pitt‘s second series. Next man up.

I have complete confidence in the DUZZ screwing this up. Therefore I bet the farm on the Spartans. Which maybe embarrassing if they lose because I don’t own a farm.

At least Pitt had a 2nd string QB coached and ready. 🤷‍♂️
Well, Pickett opted out like a month ago, so, in effect, Patti had been the starter all along. Oh, and by the way, the first play from scrimmage with the backup quarterback for Pitt was a false start penalty. But let’s not let facts get in the way of a snide but misinformed comment.

So basically we have the #1 ACC team playing the #3 Big team. Would had loved to see Spitt play Ohio state and get totally humiliated.

Credit to pitt thus far. Now, msu’s pass defense has sucked all year, but the 3rd-string QB is playing well. pitt’s defense is also playing well.

Good game for Pitt,
Pitt’s certainly more physical on offense & defense then Penn State. Maybe three star players want the game more and need to compete at a higher lever against 4 & 5 star players.

I despise Pitt but I hate Michigan State more, especially for the loser shout out to Franklin after the game this year. F them and F everything from the state of Michigan. Wimperines go 1-8 against OhowIhate and act like they are 8-1. Full of hubris. Go Dawgs, F the wimperines.

Pitt does a lot with less, BUT they have 12 6th year players and 11 5th year seniors. That’s an incredible amount of experience. Let’s see if they can sustain a lot of victories in the next 2 years before full credit is given.
Pitt does seem to understand that college football success is massively a function of the O and D lines. Penn St perpetually under-recruits both.

PSU should have passed more against MSU. Probably would have won the game.

The Sparty WR would have caught that pass against better coverage if we were playing them tonight.

Refs would have reviewed that play and said he was down as well.
