After his injury I took a close look at Nick Patti and his physique is on the slender side. I know your a backup QB but you must hit the weight room to avoid injuries. If Kenny Pickett suits up the game wouldn’t have been close. Well, it was a good game, congrats to MSU.
Pitt losing like that was AWESOME.

remember that MSU was also playing without their Heisman contender Walker. the stats in this game were not as close as the score. MSU dominated way more than I thought. MSU punted only 3 times vs 8 punts by Pitt. take the scoop and score and pick six off and it is still 10 pt game. FD difference was 25-14 and TOP was lopsided for MSU.

Pitt crapping the bed was wonderful. Crying and crapping pants was icing on the cake!
Walker opted out of the game like other players did this year. Can't blame him, he's a quality RB with mad running skills.

They showed Kenny Pickett watching the game from a luxury box or similar last night. So he was in the building. I wonder how he felt about his decision at the moment that the 3rd-string kid threw a bad pick to lose the game for pitt.

As background, many of us continued to make fun of pitt on the old Rivals board after they beat us in 2016. The usual rips about dooz, bad recruiting, no fans, etc. Remember that the 2016 game was the first in the four-game series. In the midst of us bashing pitt in 2016, someone posted, “Maybe we should beat pitt before we make fun of them.” I used that line occasionally as a joke after our win in 2017. Obviouly someone else here remembered the line.

Thanks for the assist Bob … that’s exactly the path I was on until everyone (especially bbrown) got their panties in a bunch. Honestly, on the eve of New Years resolutions I need to spend my time with activities (and people) that are not up tight about the stupidest things. The more I read the new board the less optimistic I will renew when the bargain is over. There’s way too much of this crap here and the other residual board has become a troll fest. Life is too short.
I would guess that such a self centered individual might well enjoy witnessing failure of the team without his glorious skill set, followed up with fans claiming the outcome would have been different had he played. Classic narcissism.
Two things:
1. This board is free. The $1 offer is for the extra stuff. I haven’t paid a dime.
2. When it comes to potentially sarcastic posts, everyone should adopt a “When in doubt, don’t respond” mindset. Life hack.
