Did he watch the same game I did? The officials were literally robbing us with calls. So much that I had a friend that lives in NC that texted me and said the officials were so one sided to ole miss and he's a neutral observer.
I mean, I'm no fan of Beard but these are quotes from the article:
“They make more free throws than we shoot, but I have no major complaints about the officiating. Hard game to [be an] official.”
“I thought they were the more aggressive team and they did a good job drawing those fouls,” Beard said. “But the free-throw differential was big. To overcome that you’ve got to do something special in the game.”
“Give Mississippi State the credit,” Beard said. “They were the more aggressive team and played great today at home. Was a good college basketball game.”

Almost looks like an AI aggregated story and headline where the AI assumes everything incorrectly.

If you read the article, he DID blame the refs but worded it very carefully to avoid the fine.

Wasn't the article I thought it was. Edited because I actually read the whole thing instead of my normal jumping to conclusions.
He must have had an earpiece in listening to Kellums broadcast.
Someone should tell Beard that the refs might call more fouls on their end if they weren't constantly distracted by their bald, roided up, towel boy spinning a towel over his head
I mean of course the game wasn't called fairly...how did we have such a big comeback if it wasn't ***

He will examine the game later and might realize that Mississippi State was hitting the lane more.
I’m not sold on the roid part. He didn't look like a meat head. Unless by “roided“, you mean “hemorrhoided”.
